Sabrina is back and badder than ever!
The official trailer for the second season of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is here and there’s something different about the teenage witch (played by Kiernan Shipka) — that goes behind a blonder hair color — as she embarks down a darker path.
After undergoing a dark baptism and signing the Book of Beasts at the end of season 1, Sabrina is exploring unchartered territory this season as she embraces her non-mortal side — levitation, the slaughter of demons, and resurrection of witches are just a few of the adventures on the cards. But to keep things relatable, there’s also a good old fashioned love triangle in the works, between Sabrina, her ex-boyfriend Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch), and bad boy warlock Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood).
From the looks of the first clip, there’s another man Sabrina is getting close to too: the Dark Lord himself and is giving herself over to the magic he has provided her, as she tells her aunts, “I can chose to be afraid of my powers or I can use them.” There also looks to be some potential broomstick flying in there, for the witch traditionalists among us.
Sabrina returns to Netflix April 5. In her own words, “Do you think you can handle it?”
