After 15 episodes—and meals cooked in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Macau—the winner of Top Chef season 16 has been crowned.
Thursday night’s finale began with three chefs still in the running: Alabama native Kelsey Barnard Clarke; Washington, D.C.’s Eric Adjepong; and Kentucky’s own Sara Bradley. (Take a look at every delicious dish they crafted this season—along with all the other contestant’s creations in our season 16 gallery.)
Sara had home-court advantage through much of the season but all three chefs put in solid showings as they traveled around from Kentucky, Nashville, and overseas to Macau.
All three chefs were asked to cook at the beginning of Thursday’s finale but only two were allowed to prepare a final meal for the chance to be named Top Chef.
Eric was eliminated in the first round and ultimately hosts Tom Colicchio and Padma Lakshmi announced Kelsey as the sixteenth winner of Top Chef.
