For Padalecki’s solos, we went to the Men of Letters bunker to utilize a corner of the space that included a typewriter. In the type writer was the first page of the 300th episode script, which Padalecki is also reading.

Although Padalecki, Smith, and Ackles were shot in Vancouver, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was shot separately — at his farm in upstate New York — and later added to the photos.

Conveniently, Morgan had a similar wood wall at his farm, so we were able to recreate the shot. (Morgan’s wife, Hilarie Burton, was also kind enough to make the crew breakfast.)

Padalecki jokingly pulled his jeans up to his knees to show some skin, at which point he realized his jeans were stuck and he couldn’t get them back down. Then this happened.
