Sarah Paulson may have two hit horror films on her hands with Glass and Birdbox, but that doesn’t mean she enjoys being scared.
The actress was subjected to twice the fright during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday when DeGeneres unleashed not one but two ninjas that jolted Paulson from her seat in a fit of screams.
Following the prank, Paulson attempted to sneak up behind the host, only to be charged at by a member of the show’s staff who was camouflaged as a plant.
“I just really hate it here so much,” a hysterical Paulson joked. “This is horrible. My grandmother told me to wear a poise (absorbent undergarment) when I came here.”
